Clan Coutts Nails

Well, I decided to take part in this week's nail art challenge at Nail Polish Queens community again. And am I glad I did! This week's challenge is Plaid/Tartan.

My last name Coultes is a very rare surname and took me years to find out where my roots came from. Turns out it is a Scottish name. I did some real internet diving to try desperately to find our tartan for this challenge. We don't have one, but I found out that we Coultes' descend from the Coutts/Colts. I found the tartan for the Clan Coutts, which I figure is okay for me to use for this nail art.
Here we are with the Scottish flag (done twice), a sample of the Clan Coutts Tartan and the coat of arms symbols, a stag's head and a pheon (arrow).
And here we have the other hand, although I'm not left-handed I think it turned out pretty good.
Polishes: Avon's French White Tip, Shock, Garden Green, Vintage Blue and Sally Hansen's Mellow Yellow. I cheated a little and used a red and black sharpie, since I don't have any nail art pens. *Warning: the red sharpie smudges big time with the top coat and clean up.
