Glow in the Dark Gradient

I wanted to do something a little bright for the nicer weather we are finally having and something a little fun, too. I decided to use the glow-in-the-dark nail polishes my son had bought me for Mother's Day last year to make a gradient. These almost look like MacIntosh apple skins to me, I guess because of the yellow polish mixed with the purple it turned out a more red shade.
This is the best picture I could get of them glowing in the dark, but when I went to bed last night they were super glowing. It didn't occur to me until after I went to bed that our one cat, Monster, likes to chase lights especially in the dark and that he might just go after my glowing nails!! So I had to hide them under the covers to be safe! haha You can actually see the gradient effect when they glow in the dark as they are lighter and brighter at the bottom than at the top of the nail. I think that's cool!
These are the polishes from Claire's. They do not have individual names, so they are glow-in-the-dark purple, yellow and green.

Pink Party Splatter

I didn't know what to name these nails, so I combined the names of a couple of the polishes I used along with the pink colour. I'm so boring at naming my nail art. haha

These are a mess, I apologize, but the black polish really stained my skin this time and I had trouble cleaning it up. I guess I should have cleaned it up sooner, than I did.

This is another designed that I dreamed of. My son told me that he thinks it would have been better if I had forgotten this particular dream, because he doesn't like them. haha
The polishes I used for this look were Avon's French White Tip, Licorice and Essence's Party Princess glitter topped with Avon's Blackout splatter.

My Little Blue Heart Nails

I got the idea for these nails from madmanis.blogspot.com, although hers are much nicer than mine. My little black dots didn't exactly turn out uniform in size. I think they look cute and fun anyway. Can you spot the little blue hearts?

The main polish was Sally Hansen's Celeb City. The decorations were done with Avon's French White Tip, Watermelon, Luxe Lavender, and Sea Breeze, along with Sally Hansen's Coral Reef and Mellow Yellow, oh and also Avon's Licorice.
